New Build & EPC Certificates

Home Energy Audits provides a professional service with economic solutions that helps ensure properties pass Part L Building Regulations.

We have provided Part L building Regulations since 1995 and Energy performance certificates (EPCs) since they started, giving us a wealth of assessment and certification knowledge and expertise in this area. We consistently achieve agreeable results for our clients.

It is a requirement for new properties to meet energy efficiency standards and comply with current Part L Building Regulations.EPC Certificates indicate how energy efficient a property is and its impact on the environment. They are calculated using the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP), the approved method for energy and environmental performance of dwellings.

The SAP assessment carries out a detailed energy audit. To pass, the Dwelling Emissions Rate (DER) should be less than the Target Emissions Rate (TER), and the Dwelling Fabric Energy Efficiency (DFEE) should be less than the Target Fabric Energy Efficiency (TFEE). At the end of the project, the SAP calculation and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) can be produced to achieve Part L1A Building Regulations compliance.
